This is our direct client opening for a Sr. Programmer Analyst - Bolivar, MO. This is a permanent position and the salary is around $60-90K Depending on Qualifications. Ideally this person would be local, but relocation is an option as there is a relocation package offered.

Responsibilities:
Analyzes, defines and documents application and systems requirements
Creates and maintains project descriptions and technical specifications
Performs complex and specialized programming assignments to ensure business and user needs are met.
Designs and customizes applications, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining programs databases and systems.
Resolves system problems by diagnosing application software problems, developing and implementing solutions.
Requirements

years of programming experience
Experience with JDE World sales order processing and inventory suites
Knowledge of IBM System I and RPG ILE programming
Ability to manage multiple projects
Effective communication skills both verbal and written to present ideas to user groups.
Ability to work as part of a team and with all levels of management.
Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or related field.
Strong organizational skills
Willingness to work extended hours or on call as needed
Preference given to candidates with:
Experience with EDI software, AS2 and Van
Experience with DC Link
Working knowledge of Logpro shipping software
Experience with NuBridges FTP and SQL
Experience with Mark Magic label/form software
Experience with iSeries maintenance including but not limited to backups, restores, purges, IPL
